Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel with Trip Briefing

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu you will complete the necessary customs and visa formalities. After exiting the arrival area please look for our representative holding an Everest View Treks and Expedition display board at the arrival gate. You will then be transferred to Hotel Marshyangdi or a similar category hotel.

After check-in you will have time to rest and refresh. Later a short briefing will be provided regarding the trek itinerary safety guidelines and essential information for the journey ahead. Overnight stay will be at the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2

Drive from Kathmandu to Gongurkhola River at 1,120 Meters

After breakfast, you will begin a scenic drive from Kathmandu toward Gongurkhola River. The journey takes approximately ten hours due to road conditions and occasional stops along the route. As the drive continues, the roads gradually become narrower and the turns sharper, offering a sense of adventure as you move deeper into the countryside.

After leaving the paved highway, the route follows a rugged track through a small valley, with sections of the road running high above the valley floor. Along the way, you will pass several breathtaking waterfalls that enhance the natural beauty of the journey. By evening, you will arrive at Gongurkhola River, where accommodation is arranged at a local teahouse. Overnight stay will be at the teahouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 3

Trek from Gongar to Simigaun 1,920 Meters (4–6 Hours Walk)

After breakfast, the trek begins from Gongar, passing through a traditional Sherpa village. The route crosses a river and ascends through a rhododendron forest toward Simigaun. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful natural scenery and the peaceful atmosphere of the remote Rolwaling region.

Upon arrival at Simigaun, trekkers are rewarded with a stunning view of Mount Gaurishankar at 7,134 meters. Accommodation is arranged at a teahouse, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight stay is at the teahouse.

Day 4

Trek from Simigaun to Donggang 2,935 Meters (6–7 Hours Walk)

After breakfast, the trek begins as you enter the scenic Rolwaling Valley. The trail passes through a beautiful rhododendron forest and steadily climbs toward Gyalche Village.

After approximately 5 to 6 hours of trekking, the path descends to the river, where the campsite is set up on the banks of Rolwaling Khola near a few local teahouses. Accommodation is arranged at the teahouse, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Overnight stay is at the teahouse.

Day 5

Trek from Donggang to Beding 3,692 Meters (4–5 Hours Walk)

After breakfast, the trek gradually ascends through the forested valley surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The trail passes through lush rhododendron forests with a series of ascents and descents until reaching Nyamare Village.

Along the way, trekkers can observe local people who resemble Tibetans and may be invited to sample their traditional chang (barley beer) or yak butter tea. Continuing with panoramic views of Mount Gaurishankar at 7,134 meters, the trail leads to Beding, the largest Sherpa village in the Rolwaling region. At the village entrance, there is a Gompa and a short climb above the village leads to the sacred Gaurishankar Temple.

Overnight accommodation is arranged at a teahouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 6

Rest and Acclimatization at Beding

This is an acclimatization day to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. You can take a short walk around Beding to explore the village, enjoy the surrounding scenery and observe the local Sherpa lifestyle.

The rest of the day is spent relaxing at the lodge. Overnight stay is at the same teahouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 7

Trek from Beding to Na 4,180 Meters (5–6 Hours Walk)

After breakfast, the trek begins with a gradual ascent along the bank of Rolwaling River until reaching Dhogre. Continuing further, the valley opens to reveal a large Mani stone wrapped in prayer flags and a massive rock with an image of Bodhisattva painted on it.

The trail then leads to Na Gaon, a village situated on the bank of Rolwaling River, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight accommodation is arranged at a teahouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 8

Trek from Na Gaon to Chhyugima Lake 4,541 Meters (6–7 Hours Walk)

After breakfast, the trek departs from Na Gaon, crossing a wooden bridge over the Rolwaling River. The trail ascends along a somewhat steep path, moving onto the moraines of the Rolwaling Glacier.

The destination is the majestic Chhyugima Lake, also known as Tsho Rolpa Lake, the largest and one of the most popular glacial lakes in Nepal situated at an altitude of 4,541 meters. The deep blue waters reflect the surrounding hills and snowy peaks, creating a serene and tranquil environment. Overnight stay is at a tent camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 9

Trek from Chhyugima to Tashi Lapcha Base Camp 5,012 Meters (5–6 Hours Walk)

Although short in distance, today’s trek is challenging as the trail passes through the icy and demanding terrain of Trakarding Glacier. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular views of mountains such as Rolwaling Kang at 6,664 meters, Takargo at 6,671 meters and Jabou Ri at 6,166 meters among others.

The trail ascends over rocky terrain until reaching Tashi Lapcha Base Camp. Overnight stay is at a tent camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10

Cross Tashi Lapcha Pass 5,754 m and Trek to Popchermo Base Camp 5,600 m (6 Hours Walk)

The day begins with a steep climb from Tashi Lapcha Phedi to Tashi Lapcha Pass at 5,754 meters. This challenging ascent leads to Tashi Lapcha Camp at 5,665 meters, also known as Tashi Lapcha Phuk.

After reaching the top of Tashi Lapcha Pass, which marks the boundary between the Rolwaling and Khumbu regions, the trek enters Sagarmatha National Park. From the pass, the trail descends slightly toward Popchermo Base Camp at 5,600 meters. Overnight stay is at a tent camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 11

Climb Pachermo Peak 6,267 Meters and Return to Base Camp (8 Hours Walk)

Today’s trek begins with the ascent to Pachermo Peak from the high camp. The climb to the summit offers spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and glaciers.

After reaching the summit, the trail descends back to Phedi and continues to the base camp. The total walking time for the day is approximately eight hours. Overnight stay is at a tent camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 12

Trek from Base Camp to Ngole 5,110 Meters (5–6 Hours Walk)

Today’s trek is mostly downhill as you descend toward Ngole. The walk offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and glacial valleys while making steady progress toward the camp.

Overnight stay is at a tent camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 13

Trek from Ngole to Thame 3,821 Meters (5–6 Hours Walk)

Early in the morning, the trek begins through yak pastureland and continues toward the temporary huts of local yak herders. The trail is bumpy and gradually descends, following a small stream while offering a peaceful and scenic environment.

Before entering Thame village, the trail passes the Power House. In the evening, trekkers can visit Thame Monastery and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay is at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 14

Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar 3,440 Meters (4–5 Hours Walk)

The trek begins with a gradual descent toward Samde, offering spectacular views of the Khumbu peaks, including Mount Everest at 8,848 meters, Cho Oyu at 8,201 meters, Taboche at 6,367 meters and other prominent mountains in the region.

The trail passes several villages and monasteries before descending to Syangboche and following the Bhote Koshi River toward Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town and a commercial hub bustling with tourists from around the world. Overnight stay is at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 15

Rest Day at Namche Bazaar

Today is a free day for rest and acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. You can explore the village, visit local shops and cafes or simply relax and enjoy the surrounding mountain views.

Day 16

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla 2,810 Meters (6–7 Hours Walk) and Evening Celebration

The trek departs from Namche Bazaar, following the Bhote Koshi River and Dudh Koshi River along the way. At Larja Dobhan, where the two rivers meet, the trail descends to Jorsalle, marking the exit from Sagarmatha National Park.

Continuing alongside Dudh Koshi River, the trail passes several villages, monasteries, Mani walls and prayer wheels before reaching Lukla. In the evening, a celebration marks the completion of the trek. Overnight stay is at a guesthouse with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 17

Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

Early in the morning, you will take a short flight of approximately 40 minutes from Lukla to Kathmandu, enjoying spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks along the way. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel to rest and freshen up.

In the afternoon, you can explore the streets of Kathmandu, shop for souvenirs or enjoy local cuisine while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of the city. The day concludes with a farewell dinner. Overnight stay is at a 3-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 18

Final Departure from Kathmandu to Your Sweet Home

Today marks the conclusion of your journey in Nepal. You will bid farewell to the mountains and take with you unforgettable memories of the Himalayas. Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, a representative from Everest View Treks and Expedition will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
